1. Acceptance

By installing or using Daily Spend (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The service

Daily Spend is an iOS app that connects to your bank accounts (via Teller), aggregates your transactions for the current day, and displays the total on a lock-screen widget. It is informational only and is not financial advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and reside in a jurisdiction where the service is legally available.

4. Account

You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account and for the security of the devices you use to access the App.

5. Subscription and billing

Daily Spend is offered as a 7-day free trial followed by a monthly or annual paid subscription. All purchases are made through the Apple App Store and are governed by Apple's terms in addition to these Terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel. Cancel in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose;
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App;
Interfere with the App's security or operation;
Connect bank accounts you are not authorized to access.

7. Bank data

Bank connectivity is provided through Teller. By connecting an account, you authorize Daily Spend to read your transactions on a read-only basis for the sole purpose of computing your daily spend. We cannot, and will not, move money on your behalf.

Transaction data is provided by your financial institutions through Teller. We do not guarantee that this data is complete, accurate, or delivered in real time. You are responsible for verifying your transactions through your bank.

8. Intellectual property

The App, including its source code, designs, mascot, name, and brand assets, is the property of Daily Spend and its licensors. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DAILY SPEND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we are legally required to do so.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
